VLAN creation level 2 & 3

Cisco Nexus

NEXUS01 is master

Here we don't have any DVSwitch, so we've to add the VLAN for every single ESX...

Connect to the vCenter

Hosts and Cluster > for each Host
Manage > Networking > Virtual switches
Add host networking
Virtual Machine Port Group for a Standard Switch
Select the good switch
Network label & VLAN ID

Pure Flex

Connect to Web Interface
Configure
Add VLAN

ASA

Configuration > (Device Setup) > Interfaces
Add Interface
Specify VLAN ID, Subinterface ID (~ same as VLAN ID), name, security level (~ 89), enable, static IP (IP range .254). And Description.

Find Interface
Add Dynamic NAT Rule
Specify interface and source
Manage > Add Global Address Pool (for internet access)
Check Port Address Translation (PAT) using IP Address of the interface. OK.
